Building Varamozhi in Linux

Say, you are using Kerala font & unicode. Follow these steps:

1. You should have the packages: gcc, binutils, m4, make, bison, flex, perl and perl/Tk
2. You should have installed Kerala font and a Malayalam Unicode font. See Linux-and-Malayalam blog for details.
   
3. Download and explode Varamozhi source
   
4. cd varamozhi
5. make FONT=kerala
6. make FONT=unicode
7. Start varamozhi as: perl gui/editor.pl
