Edit operations like copy, paste and select all

Somebody pointed out that we cannot use Ctrl-A to select all in Varamozhi windows. That is true. However, one could right-click to get a popup menu which lists various edit operations including copy, paste and select all. Also, ctrl-c, ctrl-v and ctrl-x do work as expected.

By accident, I discovered that Ctl-/ (Control foraward-slash) selects the entire content in the window.

This Tk Manual describes various other control commands possible in the editing window.

Serendipity: This time credit goes to Umesh. Well, that was a feature I always wanted to have in Varamozhi.

I have a plan to write a GUI for Varamozhi in Qt. Qt supports unicode. Since Qt is a C++ library, it goes well with Varamozhi's C API.

Idea is one window (sub-window) for English and one window each for any font and unicode the user wishes. Entering in English should update all other windows.

In fact, the user should be able to lock one window as Master window, entering in which should update all other window. But, if we lock to a non-English window, I am not sure whether the double-translation will work fine. Have you heard of that Changampuzha poem translated into English by somebody, which again got translated to Malayalam by Sachchidaanandan? (It was a joke.)

But I always have too many plans, none of them seems to be working due to lack of time and lack of focus.

If I try this, I will try for only a Manglish->Unicode converter first, because that is the only thing Varamozhi is lacking now. (I mean, getting unicode in a varamozhi window).
